Raveena was good to work with. There were two big disconnects impacting my re-fi experience centering around cash to close. In conversations with the loan sales agent, there was one set of expectations around cash to close. In working during loan processing, I was told that wasn't correct. So we kept working on what was actually needed for cash to close. Then, when I went to get the cashier's check based on the last information provided me, the amount I made it for was over by almost $2k.
I have been a customer for years and it has always been a good experience, however, during this transaction, Lauren Aslin made everything easier. I enjoyed having one person to contact who knew my situation and was able to help me through this. Lauren did a fantastic job, she was very helpful and answered all my questions quickly and accurately. She also was very friendly and pleasant to talk to. Thank you again, I appreciate all your help.
I think the ability to avoid inquiries, because of the electronic communication capabilities, are to great a temptation for most people to resist. People on my end of this process do not do this every day. There is no replacement for HUMAN to HUMAN communication.
More one on one talks, make it more personal. It seemed and felt very disconnected. Random emails requesting documents and then being told they weren't needed. Just a bit confusing at times. Long wait periods to move or complete with no communication.
Although the underwriting process was tedious and time-consuming, working with Macy Brown helped this turbulent process. Her professionalism, Communication and customer service are outstanding. I would highly recommend for her to be requested any time a family member does along with Penny Mac.
The refinancing process was clear and fast. I got great assistance from Mr Jeffries Johnson and Ms Icenia Davis. It was a pleasure!

Great experience working with Robsha! Had one issue with Closing Disclosure and it was corrected asap. Great customer service and closed much quicker than expected.
