The service was great because the process was easy, and everything happened within the timeframe given.
Brent was a pleasure to work with, very knowledgeable & professional. Responsive and quick to return calls and emails.
The closing process was a horrible experience. My loan representative did not provide good customer service, she did not follow up with me as she stated she would on certain inquiries and had a poor attitude through the process.

There seemed to be so much uncertainty throughout the process. Dates were up in the air; I had to ask for updates really often. I was sent a closing disclosure, then another closing disclosure with a different amount. I came to closing with a check for the amount on my final disclosure, and had to write the title company a check for over $250 because they wanted the amount on my first closing disclosure... it all felt unorganized, which is unsettling when you're dealing with so much money.
This is my 4th loan with Pennymac and I have always received great service from your representatives. This latest experience was especially exceptional! Phone calls were answered, the loan process was explained clearly, questions were answered, the rate was very competetive and the loan closed right on time.
The whole process was easier than I expected.

From the very beginning working with my Loan Officer Imelda Sanchez I have had THE BEST experience doing an IRR refinance on my home. I then worked with Marcia Wiggins who was incredible! Not only did I close with little out of pocket but from the time I submitted my application to my closing it took exactly 3 weeks! This was the best loan experience I have ever had!
