They worked quickly and guided me through the process the entire time. It was easy to submit my documents. Every time I called or had a question they answered with a timely manner.
Relatively simple, although it seemed to take longer than we thought it would for a 'streamline' refi.
Great communication and they got the job done within a reasonable amount of time.

The MyMAC Team wouldn't return my emails or calls that i had with questions. I gave them my number several times and they kept calling my wife's number, who isn't even on the loan. They had my old mailing address from 5 years ago on the closing documents. They had my old home phone number, which doesn't even exist anymore, as the contact number on the closing documents. Not a good experience at all.
My only issue was that they added extra charge prior to closing for the insurance but I already had and paid fully for insurance. I have refinanced with Pennymac a few times and the only issue is once you complete loan application with the loan officer they don't follow up and the only time you hear from them is prior to escrow closure if there is a problem and if you call them. Otherwise you will not hear from them again.
Rate was very competitive. Application process was quick all things considered, and closing was made easy. Where there is room for improvement is a didn't line of communication with the loan officer; I feel like questions would come up and it would take a couple of days to get answers. Also, the upload portal could use some work. Maybe outline all documents that might be needed and show which documents have been uploaded already.
Once the initial communication was transferred to the loan officer the communication was poor, I needed to resubmit paperwork, then when I called with questions she was not very happy about my questions and I even had a threatening email regarding canceling my approved loan. Sadly, no the best experience. However I understand that we are leaving in stressful times but I’m a frontline RN and I have stressful job, but I still try my best to be careful with my communication style.
