My major issue was the closing. First closing (Saturday) the closing agent did not show up. I tried to call but realized I didn't have her contact info. Jennifer setup another date, but Closing agent did not show up again. Finally, on past Sautuday the closing agent shows up but I WAS NOT told about it, Luckily I was home and the closing tookplace.

I was a little upset with the closing process. There are couple of last-minute hiccups. other than that my process went well.

Jamie was great. Oscar, the loan- originator was just ok in that some documents had to be redone a couple times and I had to catch the errors even though I don't really know what im doing so that decreased our confidence. The worst part about working with Penny Mac is that we couldn't get in touch with Oscar directly... the numbers we were given never got us to him. Also, the time difference between east and west coast caused some issues. Everything went down to the last minute causing stress.

PennyMac was extremely easy to work with. Even the title company, when they found out our lender was PennyMac said, “oh good, they always get back really quickly.” Overall, a great experience.
