Communication was very up and down throughout the process. Then as the closing got closer communication picked up. However, the week of my closing as I was trying to make sure everything was good because of a small window of time I had, I was told everything was good to go but it wasn’t. The last hour before closing they realize my appraisal had expired 2 weeks which caused extreme stress and anguish. Thanks to Craig Wood for fixing it when my Mac Team let me down.

We could not have asked for an easier company to work for our home loan. The closing did not take place as first planned but was not the fault of anyone. We were in a different state than the house we were buying and due to a couple episodes of health issues, we had to remain where we were. This is our second time applying for a home loan with PennyMac, and we will look at them again, when we need another home mortgage. The team that worked with us never asked for duplicate information.

I had to submit the same documents twice and did not receive immediate responses to my inquiries. Also, I had to call to ask about the status of my closing. It wasn't explained to me in advance. I also feel the explanations I got were not enough.

Communications were not prompt earlier. I had to sent multiple emails to get an answer.

I was kept informed about my loan process and never had to worry about anything. The closing was a great experience with no problems. All our questions were answered.
