I did not get acopy of final closing date documents 3 day earlier, which by law we suppose to get it. Unit that day I did not even know what I am signing.These are not the same estimate which my application got processed. Anyway I did signed.But i was not feeling happy at all.

Loan took several months . When closing was finally scheduled the notary didn’t show or call . Tried for a sold week to get ahold of someone at PennyMac and no one would respond . Also this was hit as a hard inquiry on my credit and I was never given an answer as to why .

The whole process was smooth, everyone was friendly and helpful, and we closed over two weeks earlier than we anticipated!

Horrible communication. My closing was delayed a week due to poor communication on Penny Mac's part. I would very much like to speak with a supervisor about a timeline of events that was upsetting. I stayed loyal to Penny Mac through this process and very much regret it.

George Reid was not excellent. He was EXEMPLARY!!! The notary was the only part of the process that was not competent. She had my name already written on some documents incorrectly and I had to give her my copies after writing my name on them correctly. It appeared that she did not want to be doing her job by her demeanor.

This was an overall excellent experience. I initially just called to get a quote for a refinance on my mortgage. I was very impressed with both Penny Mac agents I worked with. Ricardo DeCarlo Took all my information and documents on my initial call. And Sheryl Freeby called to follow up with me And keep me updated on the loan at least Once a week. Both were very professional. The whole process, from initial call to closing, was completed in less than 4 weeks.
