I HAVE HAD GREAT EXPERIENCE WITH PENNYMAC ON MY HOME LOANS.
One of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had.
We believe we were being discriminated against. Underwriting was a complete mess. including they did not take time to accurately review our documents before telling us we needed to submit the SAME documents again. I had to threaten to report the practices to my local consumer advocate as well as the BBB and I also wrote an email to a manager outlining our complete displeasure. Currently I would never refer someone to PMac
It was refinancing. It felt like refinancing. It was simply a thing we did. It was neither fun nor bad. The process went smoothly, and now we are done.
Communication was great. Very clear and thorough of where I was in the process and what was needed from me. I received weekly follow ups even if there was nothing needed. Just a simple call to keep me updated on the process. Would definitely recommend to everyone.
I got an email about our closing that said I could call or email back, so I emailed back. I didn’t hear from you again for 2 days and then I got a rather condescending email saying we couldn’t schedule the closing until I called back. If you needed a call the first time I should have gotten either an email response right away saying to call or another call that day. Also, I still don’t know how to set up my payments for the new loan. There has been no communication about what to do now
