The entire process up to closing went very smoothly. PennyMac personnel were pleasant, direct, upbeat and service oriented. Each time I called, I spoke with someone immediately. Each time the person answering could provide what I needed or learn the answer to my question in a reasonable amount of time. It was the closing process itself that was somewhat confusing. The first notary to contact me never received the closing documents from whomever so we set a new date. Evidently PennyMac was

I did a refi and the initial contact was very pleasant and informative. We were able to agree on a loan that would work for us. Closing was more of a challenge. Our initial meeting did not take place and it was not until we were past the meeting time that I was contacted to try to reschedule... However, we made a new appointment and were able to close.
