Elizabeth was super nice, professional, easy to understand, and very knowledgeable and clear of what was required of us, the customer. She was awesome!
This company needs to work on communication! Our closing date was a full MONTH AND A HALF after the initial closing date we were told. Every time I emailed my “PennyMac team” to get more information, I never received an email response or phone call in return. When our closing date finally did come around, they no-call, no-showed us for signing, for which my spouse and I had taken off work. Most unprofessional company I’ve ever dealt with. If I could back, I would never use PennyMac again.
It took 7 closing appointments to finally close. We even signed all papers on the 6th attempt only to be told later that the papers were wrong and we had to do it all over again. Over all we had closing appointments for a month. And several times were no show at all or were canceled we something wasn’t done with the paperwork or employment checks.
Would have liked to have been told that everything was approved and how much was needed to close. Received call from title company saying they had all closing documents and was ready to close that day however we had no idea what to bring to closing. We were left to.scramble to get amount and get to bank for cashier's check and amount was still not correct.

The communication could of been better through out the process. After I talked to Abdul we never heard back from Penny MAC until Miranda reached out at the end of the process. We were told by Abdul the process would take 30-45 days, the process took over 2 months. I called Penny MAC multiple times to get status updates and twice I was told the process was pending because further documentation was needed. Not once did I receive a call or email to let me know this was the case. V

From time of application in late feb to closing it took very long. Also after I applied I had to call and follow up to get things moving. There was also a delay from when all docs were in to telling me what I was waiting for to close.
The process was smooth and I appreciated the weekly updates and ease of submitting and electronically signing documents throughout the process.
