My experience with PennyMac was great. All of the agents were very helpful and clear in their communication. They made the process smooth and easy.
This was the easiest real estate transaction ever! They did everything they said they would do and did it when they said they would do it. Great experience!
To be honest, I am an existing PennyMac customer with a high credit score, a high salary and more cash in the bank than my loan, I thought PennyMac would move my refi quickly instead I was made to jump through hoops with endless documents just to get a lower interest rate. Not happy about the process
The process from start to finish was seamless. Regular communication was maintained and appreciated. Very positive experience.
The customer service was great; they are able to hold your hand through the whole process and provide the best service. Highly recommend!

The closing was weird. We had the amount needed for closing but didn’t know to whom it should be written. We went through the trouble of getting a cashiers check written out to Penny MAC. Turns out, it should have been written out to the title who’s name wasn’t provided in the final closing documents. Then, it was requested that we wire the funds at an additional cost to us. Just odd!

The total monthly pmt amount on the document I e-signed was ~$100 less than the actual total monthly pmt on the hard copy of the loan paperwork I physically signed a week later. Prior to e-signing, I reached out to Antonio to clarify. He addressed my questions and said yes, everything was correct, even after I pointed out what I believed to be an obvious typo that could have explained the descrepancy. I wasn't notified that these numbers were incorrect until I saw different figures at closing.
