we had to stop the closing once because I a PennyMac representative said I was not going to get the escrow back (4,000) and that only gave 500 ever. I stopped the closing and called to let them know what happened and that I was going elsewhere. Only thanks for Mohammed at PennyMac did they respond with urgency and the next closing, one week later, went smoothly. A manager called to apologize for all that happened and I appreciated that.
The PennyMac Team was truly outstanding! Their transparent approach kept me up to date throughout the entire process. Thank-you for a wonderful experience.

Many messages were left and emails sent, but Zandy was only responsive in returning calls once my husband started making the calls because communication from Zandy and PennyMac dropped off. They offered the lowest possible rate and for that I would refer a friend, but for customer service and experience, I would not.

I had a great experience working with PennyMac. Definitely one of the best lenders out there.
I love Pennymac, but the refinance people haven't a clue. Too many hands in the pot and no one knows what the other person is doing. Don't ask to speak to a supervisor, because they send someone else to handle the situation. It was a hot mess and still wasn't right when it came to signing, but after 2 attempts to get it right We signed and was told our next payment would be in July. Five days later payment withdrawn from my account to the old account and the new one was not even funded yet.
