I was disappointed that my funding was shorted at closing which caused closing to be delayed over the weekend. Questions weren’t answered right away.

Our loan officer Jay was amazing and very helpful to start the process. However the next person we dealt with Aida did not communicate clearly with us. Most communication was very vague and would be at the end of a work day at the end of a week rushing to get documents and wondering why said documents were not provided, when no previous requests had been made. Or asking for duplicates of documents. When asking multiple times to change our communication as this was very inconvenient it was not.

We refinanced through PennyMac. Due to Covid it did take a little longer than expected. We had no issues with the overall process. We will be selling in a few years and would not hesitate to do a home purchase though PennyMac Loan Service Again. We would recommend PennyMac to others who are in the process of purchasing a home!
