Stephen Cadigan was great. The first half of our process wasn't so smooth, but once it got into Stephen's hands things got better. The biggest thing I appreciated was the communication. He always emailed/called back in a very timely manner, let us know every step of the way what was going on.
Loan took way too long....I know and understand work environments changed with the Covid 19 pandemic and subsequent isolation rules. But this loan was applied for over 60 days before any California shutdown. It should have been much further along Along with that point and able to close. Emails and phone calls not returned promptly if at all. All in all I’m very pleased with my experience with PennyMac, and I will chalk this up to a one time mediocre experience due to the Covid pandemic....

It really wasn't PennyMac so much as it was the disorganization between my wife, myself and PennyMac. I don't blame PennyMac its just that my wife, throughout the closing, was communicating with some people, I was communicating with some people and we couldn't seem to get on the same page about who were should have been talking to, and the various parities couldn't seem to figure out who should be the primary contact person. It made the whole thing stressful, but its no PennyMac's fault
Ms. Vargas was great she was organized, informative, quick to respond, always available by phone. Was 100% satisfied until things were transferred to Ms. Lopez. Intitially had information all messed up told me i needed 8k to close. Also very slow to respond to emails. Needed a few of same documents again. She got job done but recommend she has all her information correct before contacting customer and she respond more timely to emails. Overall still very satisfied with Pennymac.
The one that care always was Anna from the beginning to the end of the loan. The only loan processor that really care and was always on top of the process was her. I will recommend her to anyone. She did cover all my questions and was always willing to help. However my First contact when I start the process, I was misguided, however at the end she did make it up for the whole process.
I think there could be some small improvements on voice communication. Although I provided my cell number with Merril from the beginning I kept receiving calls to my companies H.R. which they then had to forward to me. That was not ideal. This occurred even after I brought it to her attention and resent my cell number. Ammie's personality and energy was amazing. Overall I was happy with the experience. Those are just a couple things from the customer perspective.
