Everything went great, I just wished I was told before charging me $1,800 for a notary. I would have made it possible for a one time signing. That's the part I'm upset about. That's way to much for a guy to sign paper work.
If the notary had followed proper covid guidelines and had us sign all needed closinging documents at one appointment. And nobody from PennyMac notified us that all necessary closing documents were not signed

The only difficult part of the process was gathering the required documents. The PennyMac team made the rest of it smooth sailing.

I paid my morgage twice due to not having my old morgage payment canceled before closing. I'm sure that will be resolved soon. That and the law firm was a bit unprofessional. But no problems on penny mac's side at all. Great service from all agents.

Due to no fault of anyone a global pandemic broke out and we just got lost in the shuffle. We did manage to close though and that was pretty spectacular. There just wasn’t much communication. Luckily, I worked in mortgage for years and am familiar with the process. If I did not have that background, this would have been a bad experience.
