The staff was efficient, friendly and did everything they said they would do.
The first individual did not give me different options of the loans that I could receive. He only stated that I qualified for one loan that was for a higher amount. Emails were slow on being responded to. When it came to closing, needed to reschedule because they had not finished verifying employment (was notified less than 24 hours in advance). They expected me to get a hold of the individual for them to send an email. Told me documents that I did not need at closing.
PennyMac made the refinance very easy and would recommend PennyMac for all service needs.

Agent was very enjoyable to speak to & seemed to understand my concerns without having to explain more than once.
I was given wrong information multiple times by the load officer and I had to point it out. I was told I would skip 2 months of payments if I closed before the end of March. When the total company showed up they expected a check for $800 which was not communicated to me, so I wasn't prepared and had to reschedule. I then called trying to speak with Jordan and was unable to get a hold of him, I also sent emails which he never replied to. Not very professional
Better and more clear commutation, better following, return my calls and emails in a timely manner. Mrs. Wheaton’s emails were snarky, demeaning and somewhat rude. On multiple occasions I had questions and I had to call other people to get my questions answered. I will say my loan officer Wesley Black was awesome and he responded to mye within minutes or hours. I told Mr. Black my frustrations and lack of communication from Mrs. Wheaton. Mr. Black got his supervisor involved and she was great.
Sure. I didn't like the fact that my closing costs went from "free" to $5,000 or so. Point is I feel like a bait and switch was pulled on us and as an existing and on time with payments loyal customer You could have at least gave us a new customer credit. Yes, we did ask for it to no avail. We were so far in the loan process and with these times and more looming we decided to go ahead with the loan rather than starting over with the local credit union. We even sent the credit unions advertised
