Talking to only one person would cut down on conflicting information. Fewer statements indicating the loan would be canceled if I didn’t take some action immediately. I can’t do anything immediately because I am handicapped. Linda Frazier was very nice.
Closing cost went up because I was not able to close on time due to sellers bank not sending over paperwork.

I decided to stay with Penny Mac because I liked the ease of their online applications and the experience with their customer service. This loan process was the exact same. Very easy, online application, seamless transitions with knowledgeable team members at every stop of the process , live operators answering each phone call. Overall, PennyMac goes out of their way to ensure the customer is well taken care of with kind and considerate service.
My loan originator Jarrett was the difference maker. The underwriting team personnel changed without any notice. Jarrett was always there to answer any questions and quickly fix and clarify any issues. Point to point Penny Mac was exceptional. Closing was estimated in a very short timeframe and you delivered 2 days earlier. However need to fix auto response asking for things already done. Overall very pleased
Easy process … clear communication
Austin did a great job No complaints about him We had a glitch with the VA appraisal being delayed and I felt like if I hadn’t noticed it and figured it out it and escalated the concern to the next level would’ve been delayed even longer which affected the closing date on our loan Austin was very responsive Overall it is a bit difficult getting in contact with people - I find Penny Mac‘s IT/ease of Communications difficult with the encrypted emails etc. Have had rocket mortgage before and their website/portals are much... read more
