This is a second mortgage we've had with PennyMac. Closings are never easy but this is as smooth as it could get. I would use PennyMac again if I were closing on another home.
Francesca was listed on the emails and documents, but I never did speak to her. The person who filled out my original application actually helped me a couple times, but most of my conversations were with whoever answered the main line. I usually did have to be transferred around a few times before getting someone who could help. Ease of process. Limited paperwork required. Customer service friendly. We received timely updates on activity of our mortgage processing. Well done.
Honestly, the process was several months ago and I don't remember a lot. Other than closing taking longer than I expected - all else was fine/good/maybe great. Also, I generally don't make recommendations to others.
