Was asking for a market rate adjustment and instead, a complete refinance took place. Information was requested I was originally told wasn’t needed, processing info took so long the info was requested 3 more times, each time what was being requested changed and old information had to be updated. No one seemed able to go outside the written script and check what was happening. Imagine my surprise when I received a new deed to the house and learned my old mortgage was paid. The refinance with PennyMac this time around was a bit stressful due to a combination of factors including requesting documents over again even after it had been sent etc. Other than that, every other thing went well
Super quick and easy process. Completed 3 weeks ahead of deadline. So glad this is my mortgage company!
The lack of communication from the "Team Members" was not what we had expected. There was not clear and direct messaging from PennyMac after the initial call to set up refinance. It would have been nice to have had one team member handling the entire process. Many times it was not easy to reach an individual to get questions answered. Documents that were sent were not uploaded timely and therefore were requested again. Jacob was Great, The website; however, was not user friendly.
So many things to share. First while my experience was beyond terrible, I don't blame Sandrea for the entire experience. Clearly her manager and the company's process and procedures need to be fixed. I wish I had never refinanced with PennyMac. The experience, was stressful and it literally raised my blood pressure. This survey is also a terrible survey.
