The process was streamlined and done in a professional manner.
I liked how the process seemed to go without very many hitches. I don't like the fact that when you are communicated with, I had to go back through a client portal each time instead of talking directly to my loan processer. The person who gathered all of my initial information over the phone was very thorough and helpful in explaining the process.
The information I received about my closing time was inaccurate. The information I received about my December payment was inaccurate. The information I received about my mortgage insurance was inaccurate. I was informed that I would have no mortgage insurance the day before closing and when signing closing documents I was surprised by a monthly mortgage insurance fee. Nancy Shead was great! I have nothing but good things to say about her. PennyMac as a company is GARBAGE! I wish I could go back in time and live in a world where PennyMac never existed. The entire process of the home loan was awful with the exception of the people. PennyMac people are great. The one good thing I can say about PennyMac is the quality of their employees. As a mortgage company, it can't get any worse...
