Very understanding in times of stress
We used Pennymac since 2016, they were outstanding every year, even throughout the pandemic when I needed flexibility they were there for me. In 2022 I refinanced from an fha to a conventional loan with the same lender and the process was super smooth, and much faster than anticipated, everyone contacted me through every step of the loan, and answered any worries I might have. I will be a pennymac customer for life.
Great and fast
This is not the first time we have used Pennymac and as always the service and rates were fantastic.
I don't fault Mr. Brown for any of the scores than were less than 10/10. He was often the victim of poor communication with staff managing my documentation. Often, he did not have information that had been forwarded by the website. The latter is a large part of the issues that arose during the process. The homeowner should have access to a screen that shows what has actually been accepted. This would show transparency with what I forwarded and what PennyMac sees. Ed Sarkardehi did a great job for cradle to grave with our re-finance. Always replied promptly and accurately. Ed coordinated with all the PennyMac's colleagues getting our loan process as it progressed through other departments, it never was stagnant and followed the set time line. We had a awesome experience working with PennyMac and wouldn't hesitate repeating a re-finance or new loan. Thank you, Mike Lecourias
The people that helped me were kind and courteous. I felt like there were way too many hands in the cookie jar. I spoke to so many different people that did not know what was going on and had to reiterate the situation. My closing documents were wrong at least three times and it took 3 or so weeks to make the corrections. The title company also did not comply with my communications and had to fix mistakes.
