From the beginning of the process, everyone involved was very informative and courteous. Even when I'm sure my questions where a little crazy, they took the time to make sure the process was going smoothly for me. Very good team of people I was able to work with.
My experience was great with everyone at PennyMac
Better communication. The closer was sent to Ohio instead of SC. The closing stalled several times and was never explained. The cost of the loan was not explained and I was told don’t worry it won’t be close to what is on paper.

was very pleased with the small amount of statements requested. was a bit disappointed with the length of time the process took.
This process has been slow. There is no incentive for going through Penny Mac to refinance. It took our loan 76 days to be funded. I have family members that refinanced with other companies and they had money in hand within 2 weeks. I do not understand what takes Penny Mac so long , especially when we were already a customer.
My refinance experience was smooth and easy through PennyMac.
Larry was a terrific resource throughout. We were, however, asked to provide the same documents multiple times. The settlement notary was a disaster, arrived late, had inaccurate paperwork and was unable to answer questions about the settlement documents. This however is not a reflection on Larry or PennyMac. Our dealings with Larry and PennyMac were terrific.
