First closing statement was not up to date with loan balance amount. Upon request it was revised and for the same work Notary has to come twice. Secondly, The Pennymac representative was hard to reach over the phone. Phone system is very confusing and annoying. Never reached out to my loan representative over the phone in my first call. Always left a voice message. Need a lot of improvement here.

I was very frustrated that I was asked for bank statements and pay stubs 3 or 4 times. Also very upset that my credit report also had to be pulled 3 to 4 times! I would have appreciated being updated more during the process.

I know the timeframes have been pushed back due to covid, however I feel I’ve waited a little too long to close. The service was great I just didn’t like how long it took for my loan to close.

From my initial discussion to the final closing review, the PennyMac team was thorough and extremely personable. Jacob was so simple to work with and he provided clarity around options and choices I had in the refinance as well as clearly disclosing costs, process, timeline and documentation. Charisse closed the refinance, was fantastic and made things so very easy. I appreciated the updates each of them gave during the process. The refi was simple and NOTHING in 2020 is simple! Thank you both!
