The whole experience was smooth and easy.
We'll informed people, closed very quickly, low rates, but closing costs were just a little high.
Although, due to the current covid situation my re-fi took a bit longer than I expected, all the the people that I worked with thru out the process were very courteous and helpful. My longest working relationship was with Robert Gillespe and he was patient, reassuring and prompt in his communication with me. Appreciated it so very much.....
The day of closing. I wasn’t told that my closing documents had change. The day of closing. My closing cost were 1k more than what the disclosure documents had. Again no one reached out to me to let me know before closing. I was blind sided and I called Jessie and he said he didn’t know why that happen. He said he needed to look into that and get back to me but he never got back to me. Also there were 2 Z’s at the end of my last name on the closing documents. My last name is with 1 Z not 2.
Experience was nice.
Application process was easy. I like that the closing was able to occur in my home.
Not sure who my loan person actually was. I would call Rob but someone else would pick up or voicemail for someone other than Rob. The only person that was consistent and responded to me was John F. I believe he was the loan originator. Once I finally spoke with Rob he was helpful but that was not several weeks into the loan process. My sister is considering a refi or purchase but Im on the fence regarding recommending Penny Mac. Thank you.
The process took a little longer than it should, but they were really great at communicating and everything went really smooth.
The loan process took over 3 months but the loan agent was really trying her best and is very accommodating.
