Everything went wrong during this process, no communication whatsoever, false and misinformation given to me numerous times, closing that was supposed to happen never did with no communication , it was horrible and I’m glad it’s over
All information I requested from my PennyMac contact person Kelvey Becks was returned in a very prompt and professional manner. This made the process very enjoyable.
Everyone that I worked with from my initial phone call to the final document signed were extremely helpful and accessible. No pressure and every phase explained and communicated professionally. Great experience.
I am disappointed that I did not get the "no payment" for 2 months as advertised. Danyell told me to contact the office and have them stop payment to my old loan for Oct. & Nov. They told me that could not be done until after the closing on the new loan, by then the Oct. payment for the existing mortgage had been withdrawn from my acct. I am still not able to schedule payments for the new mortgage as the new loan number is not in the system yet & I don't believe I have gotten an explanation.

Poor communication, Joshua Nelson is amazing and happy to here he has moved up in positions. Arielle Smith needs improvement with communication, prudence, and all customer services skills. I know everyone can make mistakes, but if you don’t grow from them and aren’t happy doing your job.. then get a different one. Life’s too short.
It took some time initially for loan to be processed but after that it was good experience. Overall good experience!
The moment we called PennyMac Loan Services, the Loan Officer Ed Vandervelde was kind, patient, detailed and thorough with providing us with options based on what we shared about our purpose for refinancing. Within minutes of ending the call, there were documents in our email to begin the process. We were then assigned to a Home Loan Specialist by the name of Blen Alemu. She was delightful and worked diligently with us. She returned calls, provided answers and made herself available. Awesome!!
