I am glad to do business with Pennymac, Refinancing my home was even easier than I thoght. The M.A.C team, they answered all of my question and were precised since the very begining, good job, thank you very much.
The changing of loan processors should have been clearly communicated to me. I was working with a Kayla for some weeks and they changed to Aida, with no notification. Around my closing, I wasn’t sure what to expect and didn’t receive confirmation from the title agency- I contacted Aida- with no response so I figured it out on my own. Just better communication would have been appreciated. Also- understanding it is busy times, each loan processors attitude could have been a bit better.
It was a great experience to refinance with PennyMac, loan officers were very knowledgeable and the process was lean and easy.
Refinancing our current Mortgage from 4.25% to 2.625% was a good deal and the fact that we didn’t go beyond our doorsteps until final closing — WAS GREAT!!! Thank You “My m.a.c. Team!” :)
Xavier kept me informed every step of the way. He made a daunting task seem east. I never realized that refinancing could be so simple. Five stars for sure.
Process took from May to September. Could not get a response without multiple emails and phone calls. Loan officer argued with me over the phone. Loan officers boss tried making excuses for him then would not answer my phone calls when I had questions. Only stayed with Penny Mac because they were my existing loan company and I did not want to spend thousands in closing at another mortgage company. Overall terrible experience. I do not recommend.

Unfortunate CoVid made the experience hard on the loan officer and me because things couldn’t be smooth too many loan officers involved but I got the loan so I really can’t complain .
