Refinancing our current Mortgage from 4.25% to 2.625% was a good deal and the fact that we didn’t go beyond our doorsteps until final closing — WAS GREAT!!! Thank You “My m.a.c. Team!” :)

Overall a pretty easy process, Pennymac was able to gather many of the documents needed through workplace verification. And I didn't have to go find many other documents. Thank you very much

Jesse Ramon is THE Superstar of our PennyMac refinancing experience. The agent who started with us was not very helpful, sadly, and had to be replaced by Jesse. Thank you, Jesse, for a GREAT experience!

Process took from May to September. Could not get a response without multiple emails and phone calls. Loan officer argued with me over the phone. Loan officers boss tried making excuses for him then would not answer my phone calls when I had questions. Only stayed with Penny Mac because they were my existing loan company and I did not want to spend thousands in closing at another mortgage company. Overall terrible experience. I do not recommend.

I applied for the beginning of June. After July, I was told 3 times by two different people that my loan was in processing for final approval. When that turned out to not be true each time I was told that my loan would be expedited. That too was a lie. I sent an email with my concerns and did not receive a reply. I finally made contact with a supervisor who told me again, my loan would be expedited. Four months later Sept 21 we finally signed.
