I will never ever ever do business with Pennymac again. EVER. I have never in my life encountered such sloppiness, mismanagement and incompetence. I would rather have all of my toenails and teeth extracted than have to go through a closing with you morons again. You could be / should be studied in mba management classes on how not to do business.
Concerning, pleasant, professional and assuring! What more could a client ask for. Folks at PennyMac should walk with pride with the services they provide and in the manner they are presented!
Our experience was easy and as quick as possible in our trying times. My questions were all answered in a timely manner and with precision.
Closing took too long. They did not explain to me in the beginning that getting the 2.75% rate would cost me money for that rate. Basically buying that rate.

Jesse was excellent, I wish he had been involved from the start - responsive, communicated at each step, knowledgeable, worked hard to meet our needs. Our overall experience with Penny Mac was disappointing once selected, little relevant communication on status, docs requested multiple times, and very slow to process documents received. We were notified of a required repair last min from appraisal report received 10 days before causing a 2 wk delay. Thanks to Jesse, it didn't delay further!
