The closing docs weren't sent to the notary for my scheduled date (Monday). I called and emailed My MAC team Tuesday and Wednesday and got no response. I emailed Merrill directly Thursday and she got the closing done on the Friday. But My MAC team sent three versions of the closing summary and none of them were correct. I called Merrill Friday and she promised to fix the docs, which did get done the next week.

The customer service was extremely helpful and timely. They kept me informed every step of the way and although we are going through this Pandemic, they responded to my questions timely and professionally. This process from start to finish was quicker than I thought it would be. It was a painless experience that I would recommend to family and friends.

It took much longer than expected from start to finish and I was asked for the same documents over and over (I’m assuming because of the delay). We had to follow up multiple times because there were gaps in communication and us not knowing what the updates were.
The process to refi with a lender you are already doing business with takes too long. I was expecting 2 weeks. After initial complication and pricing issues, it took 2 months. I feel that the rates for in house refi was too high because of standard fees that I felt were already apart of my original loan, and my have been reused.
Jacob was wonderful to work with. He communicated every step of the way and made everything very clear for us
