The process was fast and easy with a great rate. What else do you want when refinancing your home?
The service was great. Everything was communicated clearly.
The communication was awful.When we called the number provided it always went to a voicemail with no callback.When we sent emails, the response time was 3+ days later.We spent a lot of time just trying to get simple updates.Loan processing agent quit at the end of our process and the agents who took over did not keep me updated whatsoever. The closing date got extended 2x. The last extension was because they are so backed up.Paperwork arrived at title co. the day of closing. Very unprofessional.

To long of process when we already had mortgage with Penny mac. The request for documents was duplicated.
This is my second refinance with PennyMac - thru the entire process I was kept informed of every step. The rates provided were great, servicing of all my mortgage needs and communication has always been exceptional. I highly recommend PennyMac if you want a competitive rate and great customer service. In the past 10 years of being a customer they have kept my mortgage and done a great job!

Communication. We were told that we would get weekly calls, did not happen. We were told on thing at application verses loan processor that was not accurate. Found loan processor lacking in customer service skills and information. Will provide more specifically if requested
It took 3 tries to close. The first 2 failed because PMac failed to send req'd docs. PMac did not tell us either time of failure. After 2nd time spent 1 hour on phone with very nice customer service rep who sent email to Rachel Harris and supervisor asking for explanation. None sent. Week after closing was called by PMac Debt collection asking for payment when had been told by Rachel Harris not to make July payment. Asked Harris for confirmation and got no response. Lack of response #1 fail
