The time it took to get the loan process was longer than expected. I understand the COVId put a strain on everyone but 3 months was a little long.

Dates changed with no communication from settlement office. Amount due at settlement was never communicated with us. It was not just a few dollars.

When I decided to refinance my home and contacted Pennymac, their representatives was polite and ready to answer all questions I had about the process and how to get started. They were with me through the entire process explaining everything I needed to finish this process smoothly and without stress. The team and exp6was fantatsic.

With the covid situation it took 3 months from start to finish to close. Maranda was helpful through the new world ever changing rules & regulations. Thank you Maranda.

1. Getting in touch with someone from my macteam was difficult. Getting responses to emails and calls was hit or miss. 2. I was told not to worry about the mortgage increase that would begin 1 July due to the escrow analysis because the refinance process would automatically begin a new escrow. However, we were still charged the higher amount for July and I was told we'd get that money back. I've yet to see that money. 3. I'm still awaiting the money we were supposed to get at closing 9 days ago.

I went multiple weeks without hearing anything and had to follow up with an email and voicemail to get someone to call me back. Very discouraging.

My initial contact quoted about $4,000 to close. It cost closer to $5000. Off by about 20 percent. I had an appointment set up for me with the notary who was a no call no show. We were able to reschedule, but it pushed the closing to the first week of July, which i had to pay on my old mortgage for 7/1. However, the folks at pennymac were courteous and could answer my question at that time. I am content with the rate for new my loan.
