PennyMac was my original loan provider. I was shopping around and found better rates elsewhere, when I notified PennyMac they not only matched but beat the competitors. Their service has been fantastic from the beginning. I closed within a weeks timeframe.

My experience with Jason Staples was great, but there were problems with the document processing that were not monitored as I would have expected and I had to alert everyone that there was a problem. The PennyMac team did well in correcting the issues. This is my third home and I have done refinancing on each one and this was my worst experience.
Dates changed with no communication from settlement office. Amount due at settlement was never communicated with us. It was not just a few dollars.
When I decided to refinance my home and contacted Pennymac, their representatives was polite and ready to answer all questions I had about the process and how to get started. They were with me through the entire process explaining everything I needed to finish this process smoothly and without stress. The team and exp6was fantatsic.
With the covid situation it took 3 months from start to finish to close. Maranda was helpful through the new world ever changing rules & regulations. Thank you Maranda.
I went multiple weeks without hearing anything and had to follow up with an email and voicemail to get someone to call me back. Very discouraging.
