The Covid complicated things.
Bailey Greene was awesome from initiating the loan process to planning the right time to pull credit scores. Very knowledgeable and very responsive to emails and voice messages. Unfortunately after Bailey, the process went South. The initial preliminary closing disclosures were incorrect, the loan stalled after choosing updated quotes from rate desk, and we were forced to push back one day.Literally at closing table, V needed one more bank statement, withdrawal and deposit info before closing.
Ashley was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked with me despite my difficult schedule and phone issues. Thank you!
Smooth procees
This is the 3rd home loan we have had with Penny Mac. Most pleased!!
Blen was amazing - contacting me even on a Sunday afternoon! The only issues we had were that my spouse’s name was missed on the closing documents (but again Blen to the rescue!) and the title company was a bit difficult to find since they used a Regus office setting and we were not given a direct phone contact to the title company but rather the phone number for the Regus office suite. It all worked out but it was a bit uncertain.
Process was very easy - only complaints would be you need better phone lines because they tend to be garbled. Also, original closing was cancelled by title and we were never notified.
to remove the complications of duplicate request of forms, explain the process in complete details with written follow up. Most of your agents were very knowledgeable and professional but due to corona, when you called in you would give a different agent who had no clue what I was talking about. Kristen was awesome but my phone calls were not transferred but referred to someone else.
My issue frankly was with the paper work not being updated immediately when I negotiated a different deal with PennyMac. I was told I had to sign paperwork that was not reflective of the deal. The paperwork was updated at the end but I am still not 100% convinced it reflects the deal that I negotiated. The site was also terrible, if you upload a document there should be some visual that it has been uploaded...a check a complete or something.
