I was told this would take 60 days due to how busy you are, I get that, but it took 130 day to close and fund. The only reason it was not longer, was because I was on the phone pushing this along tight up to the last day. I know your team tried, but you systems failed in every way. It was impossible to get Rob on the phone and when I would get someone, we would have to start all over and get them up to date on what was going on. Again, you people were good, you systems failed....

From start to finish, this was the best home buying/refinancing process I have been a part of. Pennymac made the process smooth and easy. The process roadmap made it clear to see what step in the process we were on. The loan specialist was very clear on what we needed to provide. I would highly recommend Pennymac to everyone.

The process was very easy. I was an existing customer and used PennyMac again because they have consistently had great customer service. The portal for loading documents is very straight forward and the people are very pleasant and knowledgeable!

Rachael Harris was the person handling my loan. She called me a total of one time to check in with me. I had to call everytime something was needed. She had calls set to check in with me Bc other associates let me know. I would wait and never hear from her. I would have to call in. At one point she actually said I didn’t want my loan anymore. She said there were notes of this but didn’t bother to call and confirm. she just went and closed it out. Thankfully I called in like I said I always had

It took an escalation to Teresa Henry to resolve after at least two requests to Jason for clarification of docs that I was requested to submit.

Jordan was great and helpful. There was a mix up at the end where there was a hold up with the documents that nobody seemed to be aware of. Our closing date was ultimately delayed by a few days and required multiple calls to get through and get status updates. Overall, Jordan was very understanding and helpful. The whole process was smooth and positive.

Website for uploading docs not user friendly. Asked for information we did not need to submit. Was told incorrect amount to bring to closing. Amount was actually under $1500. I was given a number over $1500 and had to make a unnecessary trip to the bank for a check when I could have used a personal check. Made more difficult at this time with drive-thru access only at the bank. Closer took a 10 minute personal call in the middle of presenting our documents for signing. Overall, good service.

My loan officer Xaver Johnson made a mistake during our original closing on June 22 which caused a problem with payoff with my prior loan with PennyMac. After closing, I was told not to pay July or August and the new loans payments would begin in September. I was not notified of PennyMac’s mistake and was late on July’s payment for the first time in my life. The loan officer made several more mistakes and messed up my finances. I refused to pay the late payments and the experience was awful.
