Up until the day prior to closing everything with PennyMac went smooth and as planned. The day prior to closing, i received the estimated closing costs which was 6K less than what i was previously notified about from my loan officer. I completed the wire and at 9PM, 12 hours before my settlement, I received a call stating that PennyMac was wrong and that I needed to come forth with 6K more. Needless to say, I was very frustrated with this process. It caused a lot of unneeded stress.

The only complaint I have is how accessible agents are. There seems to be a process just to be able to speak to someone or get a reply back to an email. That being said, I understand that PennyMac is a large company with many clients so there has to be some sort of barrier to entry. Great job otherwise!

There were to many people emailing and communicating with me. Received an update through email only once but received an email stating I would get an update throughout the process. Also, I had to provide a few documents more than once.
