Keeping in constant communication by the staff at Penny Mac. Any question we had, we could call or email and we got an answer straight away. This was a very pleasant experience!
We were asked the same questions over and over. Every time we called we spoke to someone else. there were weeks at a time no one contacted us so we had to check on the status. we were never given the appraisal we paid for. We did get a good rate and the loan went through but we feel the communication was lacking.

For the most part the process was quick and easy. There were some hiccups that could have gone smoother but overall good experience.
I thought refinancing would be a complete nightmare - it wasn’t!
From start to closing it took about a month longer then I expected. The communication during that month was lacking. I believe it was sent for final aporoval amd it took a very long time.
Very good experience. Professionally handled and well communicated. No surprises.
1. Emails weren't immediately answered in a timely manner. 2. If I signed documents and completed all paperwork why haven't I received my payout from refinancing home?
