I had a very pleasant experience with PennyMac through the process of refinancing my home
This was a straight forward, no cash out refinance of an existing long term customer with excellent credit, income and loan to value. What should have taken 30 days or less took close to 60. Documents were requested more than once and sporadically throughout the process. Contact people changed throughout the loan process. Overall it was a very inefficient process that took so long that rates went down in the interim and I was never offered the lower rate.
The process was fast and easy. Great customer service!
From start to end the whole team was great and responsive with our questions and concerns.
Covid 19 along with my particular circumstance created a challenge with communication, even though a system was developed and the Refi process was a success. Thank You
