Penny Mac was great given the Covid thing. The only problem was returning a phone call there is no direct line. This by far has been the easiest refi I’ve ever done and I’ve done 6 or more in my life.Had offers from the big tv lenders but they wanted to give me money and put my principal balance back where I started.I got several offers but they were true to their word. The other guys will promise you the world but once you sign on the line they are done with you.

Excellent customer service, very easy process from start to finish. I highly recommend PennyMac for all your mortgage needs.
Overall, it was a good experience with a positive outcome. The process was a bit more sluggish than expected (likely due to the pandemic).
Xavier Johnson kept on checking the status of my loan and found that it was delayed due to some minor detail. He took it upon himself to get this loan completed. Albert Tigranyan was instrumental in getting me an excellent mortgage rate. Both these young men were knowledgeable and caring. They are assets to your company.
Loan process was quickly. What I was told and expected was honored it in the closing.
The process was rather streamlined even during a time of great uncertainty in the world. All documents and expectations/closing procedure was explained clearly but some of the numbers differed from my original estimate to closing. I also would have liked to be able to have the opportunity to speak to my loan officer when I contacted PennyMac but instead was often referred to another loan officer or if the individual I worked with responded I would have liked to discuss over the phone.
delay in closing day, information was ask four time for the same one.
I commend the Loan Officer, David Kelly who initially processed my application for the refinance. He was very thorough and answered all my questions which gave me the confidence to move forward with the refinance at PennyMac even though I was working with another bank. Maranda Howard informed me that she was my Loan Officer but anytime I called I had to talk to someone else and this was confusing for me. I guess this is your protocol.
