My family and our realtor seemed to be two days ahead of Jesse. In addition PennyMac never communicated with the title company on our closing date. Our title company set closing date as 6/11 at 3:15. When we arrived the loan docs were dated for 6/12. After many calls from myself and our title company we finally were able to get the correct date on the closing docs and three hours later we closed. Jesse never returned calls and seemed to be either new or lost.
Our process was easy and it’s why we went with pennymac so it would be quick and painless I wouldn’t have to find papers or do anything crazy. It was a smooth process

The cash required at closing was a lot higher than I expected, and I was unable to get an answer to the question (via email) about why that was the case.
I sent an email out last week to Ruben Luna he never wrote me back. There were a lot of times that I had to keep asking and writing emails but no one would right me back. I just think the Communication was wasn’t the best. I was going to try to do my loan with Navy FCU but they had a longer wait time.
Easier way to communicate. I know we are in a unique situation with COVID and working from home but it was hard to get a hold of processor on my time. I could only seem to talk every other day or so when they would call. It would have been nice to be able to call when I had questions and have someone answer at that time that could help me.
The staff tried everything in their power to give me the best rates available. Great company!
