Communication through the loan process was great. The closing was quick.
This was the worst experience from the beginning that I’ve ever experienced and I’ve been an agent for 36 years. I wished several times I had not gone with PennyMac.
Many aspects of the refi process were impacted due to the pandemic. Some of those things were out of your control but I feel the process in a whole should have went a little quicker. Also the financial portion of the refi process is way over priced.
From start to finish, I hand a surprisingly great time working with the required PennyMac loan personnel! I worked several years on improving my credit score, when things felt right, I started the process of acquiring a home mortgage. This is my second home mortgage with PennyMac because y’all did so well working with me the first time. God Bless Y’all!

Mr Lusk was very unprofessional at times. When he answered the phone he did not state his name. I had to consistently call him to get answers. I must say if it wasn't for the other representatives that helped me I was so close to withdrawing my loan with PennyMac. The other representatives were a much greater help then he was. I got answers from them more than I did from him. He would put me on long hold times on the phone, but when I called the other representatives would access my records.

Quickest process! I was able to refinance my home within 4 weeks, which included submitting paperwork, having an appraisal and closing. I greatly appreciate the PennyMac staff for being efficient and thorough.
