Updates were given in a timely manner. Friendly and knowledgeable service.
My processor Andrea Mattox has been excellent. She has responded to all of my requests in a expeditous manner and has been easy to work with. However, it has taken far to long to close my loans. The documentation requests have been burdensome and duplicitous. I would recommend PennyMac because of the rates/pricing and the experience with Andrea but I would warn my referral to be ready for a potentially long tedious process no matter how quickly they provide documentation.
Layal Zoueiled was so caring and helpful at the beginning of the loan process! She is an efficient and competent loan officer. Thanks Layal.
Amanda did a fantastic job throughout the process of my loan.
Where do I begin? From the point Carolyn Munson became ill (sadly with Covid-19) everything fell apart and there was no immediate backup to assist in any way, so this left us twisting in the wind with no communication for 72hrs. Just before our expected closing date. We were extremely proactive in our calls to you which would amount to over 15-17 calls in that time frame. Anna who tried to assist but she could not access the docs Carolyn possessed. You all need a better backup system in place.
Angelica was without a doubt the BEST part of this process. However before she was assigned to my loan there were several nightmare scenarios. I pointed out issues with the title vested to the previous rep Rhonda who said it wouldnt be a problem and when Angelica got the file she had to fix many errors on the file. I was also told I had liens/judgments for millions of dollars that were completely incorrect and could not even get a courtesy call from the prior rep which was horrible.
all our questions were clearly answered in a timely manner and in a way that we understood them.
Sheryl Freeby was very helpful and kind. We had an unusual amount of trouble with the appraisal process but that wasn't the fault of PennyMac. Sheryl was good at pushing things through as quickly as possible. She also didn't mind how we submitted documents as long as she got them.
My employment was verified four times, during one phone call Ms Johnson went from we need to verify your employment to no we do not and then back to we need to verify your employment, the process said Was in a flood plain, ms Johnson said that was an error after I provided survey maps to prove I was not in a 500 year flood plain, the closing date was over a month delayed, throughout the entire process I think I was contacted by six different people. The overall process was terrible.
