Everything went real smooth
Justen Hunt was my loan processor and we had a nightmare with this guy. We were promised a guaranteed closing date and they fell short one whole day. From the start, we let Justen and PennyMac aware of our moving situation, that we are moving from CA to TX. After telling me that we were one whole day ahead two days prior to our promised closing date, Justen calls me the day before that we will not be signing at the time that was scheduled and will be 5 hours later and even that never happened.
Process was easy and fast!
My Loan Officer Nathan Riedel was excellent And Andrew Reta was helpful. The issues I had pertained to the Closing. My Loan was scheduled to close on 9-29-20 at 11:00AM. However My loan was delayed without warning. After making over 50 phone calls, leaving voicemails to my Ben Clifford and his managers, I finally received an email (no phone call) 3 hours after the scheduled closing. This caused major problems with many people and additional expenses for myself. The culpability lies with PMAC.
It was great working with Ceista. She checked in each week to give us an update and was always available to answer questions. She made the process very simple and did a fantastic job!
The application process was efficient.
I was pleased with the services of Nicholas Myer and others that I spoke to in the beginning of the process. I am not an Attorney, however, to the best of may understanding all documents were submitted correctly and I have to have confidence in the process. The Notary gave me documents to sign and being a PennyMac client already, I feel confident that all documents were processed and submitted for signature in good faith. No surprise. We appreciated Ben and Ray getting us to close on time on time. Until they took over, we were getting so frustrated. Our Agent and I would text and leave voice voicemails with no prompt replies and were very concerned if we would make it to close on time. PennyMac needs to limit the number of people handling an account. We were told on several occasions that everything was complete, then another person would say something else was needed. We had never experienced this problem before.
