We have dealt with Pennymac before and have always had a great experience. I still love Pennymac and would refer friends to use them, I just think this time around the customer service was poor. The wait for closing was really long and trying. The back and forth was annoying. We also were told after waiting over 3mos that we were denied, which made no sense. After the confusion settled they were ready to close leaving us scratching our heads on why this even happened. Bad timing I guess.

the only negative thing in this process was not the fault of anyone at PennyMac, just Covid-19 slow down, I Guess this going to be around for a while, God forbid. Thanks for all the help.

The first loan processing agent we had did a poor job of communicating, we had emailed and told him upfront about changes to the loan app desired after the appraisal came in, and he failed to update the loan docs for almost two months. And he kept trying to get us to close on the original loan. Finally they got the loan docs updates, and we stopped getting updates from the processing agent. Once Ajanay Cummings was assigned everything went great!
Penny Mac Loan Service representative, Sumayyah Wiggins was truly a professional person who went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service during our loan process. She consistently communicated in a timely manner and made us feel comfortable and confident with our expectations. Great Penny Mac service! Thank you.
