It was a great experience.
Had a bad experience with Jenny German and her supervisor Lewis Manley. (1) The loan was scheduled to close on NOV 17th. On November 16th I checked with settlement agent to confirm the appointment and found out that PennyMac had not informed them. Then I tried to contact Jenny and Lewis and they never got back to me. We took a day off for the closing and it was a waste. (2) My CD was revised before closing and I kept asking Jenny for a copy of it but did not receive.
My refinance with PennyMac went very well and was super easy. Other than providing my personal docs, they did all of the work and gave me a lower rate, reduced my loan term AND reduced my monthly payment!
I am extremely grateful for the service I received from Max Mitchell. He made my experience stress and worry free with professionalism and real personality. The proactive communications and willingness to work late to accommodate my schedule needs is a old school personal touch. Also how you were able to assist and follow up with the closing scheduling mishap made the closing take place on time. I genuinely thank you and you sir deserve 5 stars alone!
The process went very smooth. It was almost all online and very quick. Everything was upfront and easy to know what was expected of me.

The overall communication was horrible. We received emails from many different people and never really knew who to get ahold of for questions. We ended up narrowing our contact points to Carmelita and John W. We ended up leaving a couple of messages for Carmelita's manager as well, since we could never get ahold of her. No surprise, but her manager never called us back either. We started the loan process on Sept 1st. We closed on 11/24 after many errors in the loan disclosure amounts.
