From beginning to end, the refinance process was presented clear cut and performed in an ease of process manner for me. I was kept up to date with regular email communications. And Molly was very helpful and patient throughout it all.
BY FAR THE MOST SIMPLE PROCESS TO REFINANCE OR PURCHASE A HOME I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE CONSIDERING EITHER. RATES WERE ALSO VERY GOOD COMPARED TO OTHERS I LOOKED AT.
Though Raveena did an amazing job communicating what she could. I believe the time line for the closing was not upfront. I asked repeated prior and during when expected to close and it took the underwriter 3 more months than anticipated. I understand covid had some effect to it but better communication on timeline or queue would be better than simply hearing 'no news' each week. It delayed some traveling plans since I wanted to be available when closing documents needed to be signed...
other than issues with terms changing from what was discussed, eventually everything was resolved and ended well.
Jenny German was a dream to work with. Anytime I had a question she quickly responded, and even though we are in different coasts of the US I never had to wait long for a response.
The closing processing was difficult. We had an appointment to sign the closing documents on 9/16/20, but the notary failed to show up or call to inform us what happened. After a day the MAC team called to say there was a delay but could not tell us exactly what the issue was. After a week the issue was resolved so we scheduled to sign the closing documents on 9/23/20 at 11am & 4pm and both notaries notary failed to show up. We ended up signing at 9pm. No one informed us of what was happening.
The staff were pleasant, fun and super responsive.
Had numerous requests that made no sense Some of the requests were from underwriting However, they made requests in regards to our Second loan. There is no need for me to provide A previous closing statement for the second loan A recent monthly loc statement was already provided Revived a second call yesterday to verify my Employment. My employment was already verified And the loan closed. Can’t ever speak to a live person Because of higher than normal call volume messages
