On a refi, closed on 9/25, which from the beginning of the process we wanted to close on the first Friday of whatever month we were to close in. I said this several times. We started the refi process in the middle of June and didn't close till the last week of September. I'm also still waiting for a copy of the paperwork I signed 6 days ago. I have asked PennyMac as well as the person who closed the mortgage directly. Outside of all that I had no issues.
Kyle was absolutely great. He was prompt in answering questions and was always available. The process took a little longer than we thought, but this was due to the virus, and Kyle kept us updated the entire time. Would highly recommend. Charles and Cathy Wilburn

PennyMac is the one that came calling us about refinancing our home. I thought it was a good idea, and that bringing down the payment a couple hundred dollars sounded good to me. From the time of our first interview with Brian, the sales person he told me that the amount to close would be just about a house payment. When it came time to close after about the first month a half, it had doubled. I felt we were lied to, before this I would’ve recommended PennyMac to anyone, not so sure now
Jazmyne Rogers is a pleasant, kind, and a very patient person to work with. She always went into great detail to explain each step of the loan processing procedures to me. I never felt uncomfortable if I had to ask her to repeat something that I may have forgotten or didn't understand. My PennyMac team provided great customer service with the refinance of my home. In the midst of a global pandemic and an influx of refinance applications due to low interest rates they processed my application in a reasonable period of time with minimal delays. They also provided weekly updates on the status of my application. My overall experience was great and I am pleased with my lower interest rate and the savings!
