Communication was not constant and clear as to next steps as we moved forward.
Everything went very smooth during the process. I understand that everyone was very busy but all of my questions were answered and everything was finalized in the original stated timeline.
Minimal effort was required on my part. Everyone I spoke with were knowledgeable and friendly.
The process was smooth and my loan was very low documents. I get weekly update in regards to the process so that was nice. The only qualm I have is the lack of communication/direct line to speak to my agent. Especially the morning of my closing. The final closing documents had different numbers than what I had sign and acknowledge before that which had cause the process to not be seamless. I feel that on the day of closing, the agent (if OOTO, should have a back up) should be on standby.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The team at Penny Mac USA were very friendly and knowledgeable. They kept us up to date with any information that we would need. Closing was super easy as they arranged for a notary to come to our home and we had our closing costs ready to go. Definitely recommend Penny Mac as your mortgage provider. Scott S. I primarily worked with Nekita until she quit answering/returning my calls. Then someone else took over and my loan finally closed. The people who took over my loan from Nekita were great, but it felt like the ball was dropped initially.
Nicholas communicated frequently and that wasn't the problem. I had to ask for the closing documents from the Notary several times ans that was stressful. Another company needs to be used for closing. Ask the customer if they have a preferred title company.
I started my ReFi on June 11th. I was assigned a loan officer rick serrano. I provided docs as requested. All off a sudden I get an email from emeldo munoz. That's when it went from bad to worse. He provided little communication, he never went over the process or provide me with a check list. I had to continuously reach out to him for status. His status would be, processing nothing needed at this time. A few weeks later, I email again. This time he says, we need bank statements
