From start to the closing day, the loan documents with closing disclosures have ALWAYS been inaccurate. Ed and team were never on the same page in regards of accurate closing costs. None of the managers ever got in contact with me to resolve the issues . At closing, the closing costs changed, AGAIN, from what we were told explicitly. The overall experience was frustrating. I understand delays due to pandemic is unavoidable, but there were other delays that could've been avoided to close faster.
Kami was fantastic and the ONLY one that helped me. Eric was a terrible communicator and lied to me more than once. Jay, the original person to start the process, also lied about what to expect and the time frame it would take to close the loan. The excuses were lame too. Kami is the one that actually saved this loan, as I was going to go elsewhere and demand the 100.00 back
Max was very easy and professional to work with. He communicated clearly all aspects of the loan process. Every question I asked was promptly and accurately. This can be a scary process, but working with Max took all concerns away. I would strongly recommend going with PennyMac, and give Max 5 stars!!!

Jazmine our PennyMack agent was very helpful, the refinancing process went smoothly. The closing lady though was late.
The whole team at PennyMac was great! We love PennyMac and will recommend it to anyone that needs a loan or refinance.
Communication was a big problem. I was emailed papers with a closing date but no one had communicated anything about this date to me. I called and emailed numerous times and my calls were finally returned four days later. I was told that the date listed on that document was wrong. Many times I felt embarrassed and ignorant about my questions and requests. We started the refinance process on May 29th and finally closed on August 5th. I will not do this again and definitely not with PennyMac.
