Towards the end of the process the communication could have better.
I have been with PennyMac for awhile and they have given me excellent service. So when I decided to take advantage of the lower interest rates of today, it was easy for me to decide who I wanted to do a REFI with. The process and closing was easy and I saved a lot of money long term. I would recommend PennyMac for all your Mortgage needs. Richard
Great company to finance with. After documents sent, communication was slower. Cal led the mac team and wouldn't give us answers. That's the only complaint I have.
Loan officers were switched on my several times. It wasn't until I was assigned to Molly that I finally had someone who responded to me in a timely manner. I would not recommend PennyMac.
1. Clearly the workload at your end is too much. I did not receive accurate or timely information. Emails were frequently left unanswered and phone calls were not returned. 2. Closing costs were to be rolled into the loan amount, which is how they were shown initially. However, partway through the process, documents provided showed amounts I needed to bring for closing. It took an inordinate amount of time to correct this error. Delays on your end pushed back my closing date and cost me money.

Everything was extremely easy and quick. Ravens food a great job at calling to let us know how things were progressing even if there weren’t any big updates to tell.
