Overall painless process
Raveena was very professional. The timing of all this made communication difficult, but she was incredible over the phone, prompt in her followup emails, and clear about expectations. Would definitely do it all over again!
Overall great experience with my PennyMac team on our Refinance- we even closed faster than expected. All document were clearly defined and I was kept up to date as the loan papers progressed. Would recommend using :)
Overall, good experience. But there was an issue with closing costs going up and down a few times. The day of closing the costs were much better than originally quoted. Although, the day before closing, the amount was incorrect when closing took place the next day. A bit confusing.

My experience started off great with my initial loan estimate from Owen E. Owen was friendly and answered all my questions as he gathered information. I was given step-by-step instructions and the loan process was laid out at the beginning to help me set my own expectations. All expectations and timelines were met! I am very satisfied with my home mortgage refinance experience at PennyMac.
Everyone was super nice and it was a super smooth process.
Closing too way to long, over a month. Also, phone calls need to be returned sooner
The closing was a disaster. The mobile notary asked us if if we had witnesses, mortgage amount was more than payoff figure, closing costs were a lot with no explanation on anything. We placed calls to our representative who tried to find out the answers and was unable to reach our mortgage broker. The notary had to call his contacts to find out about witnesses, we called a friend in the business to help us, and no one was available to explain the legalese as we read through each page. Nightmare
