Communication was horrible through out. Some folks helped out but there were so many hurdles and mess ups and delays.
Great experience all around
The processors were very through and competant, but the organization seemed overloaded, so the process was not as speedy as it could have been.
I enjoyed the communication I had with everyone involved with my loan process and would recommend PennyMac Loan services to everyone. They walked me through the whole process from beginning to end, everyone was respectful and pleasant.
Communication is key. I was never even contacted to review the closing documents. I had to call to schedule the actual closing date myself. When I did speak to the processor she acted as though I was a nuisance to her. I only spoke to her once throughout the entire process. The only part of the process that I received good service was when I initially applied and spoke to the person who pre-qualified me.
For starters, Clinton was fine to deal with, but somebody on your team really didn’t do their job with this one. I had explained the circumstances VERY clearly to my loan officer, but the loan was written up in accurately. I caught it initially and pointed it out. I was then told not to sign and that it would be corrected. It then didn’t get corrected and wasn’t caught until the DAY of the closing (like an hour before the notary was to show up). The refi was then delay again and reprocessed.
Considering what is going on these days with the economy slowing down I think everything went well. It took a little longer than I originally thought but it is understandable due to a shift to working remotely. Overall I am very pleased with the service I received.
