They gave me a better refinance rate and there were no major hiccups in the process. So, I am a satisfied customer.
Communication is key. I was never even contacted to review the closing documents. I had to call to schedule the actual closing date myself. When I did speak to the processor she acted as though I was a nuisance to her. I only spoke to her once throughout the entire process. The only part of the process that I received good service was when I initially applied and spoke to the person who pre-qualified me.
Very poor comunication
The process with PennyMac was wonderful however the closing was pushed out 4 times due to Amrock Inc. I feel they need to brush up on their efficiency. Belinda was amazing!

Brent was a great help from start to end. He was consistent with his follow-up's, time frames and expectations. He answered all of my questions no matter how redundant and consistently showed us he was doing all he could to help us get to the finish line.
Very smooth transition .
*Communications were done only thru email, a personal phone call would have been nice. *I was told i didn't need mortgage insurance, and i did. *I was told i was going to get $2000 back at closing, then $500 back - I received $350
