The loan process with PennyMac itself was easy. However, there were some miscommunication with the closing, which was handled by someone other than PennyMac. I told my loan officer that my ex husband would be there to sign the quit claim deed and associated documents, but got a call from the title company 20 mins before my scheduled closing asking for his information. As a result, the closing was delayed by over an hour and a half.
They gave me a better refinance rate and there were no major hiccups in the process. So, I am a satisfied customer.
